We are located on Taurangaruru Road, Waiuku, with three spacious double rooms available for up to a maximum of six guests.
Our coffee/computer nook is perfect for guests to have some quite time with a coffee, while catching up with any business work that needs to be done.
We are a very active couple, who have always enjoyed meeting new people. After having lived in the Waiuku and Awhitu area for many years, we can provide a wealth of information on what to see and do.
Jim & Phyllis have also been members of the New Zealand Firefighter Sports Association for over 30 years, selling the New Zealand Firefighters Calendars to raise a substantial amount of money for their principle charity, the 'Child Cancer Foundation'
Phyllis was a member of rxfitness235 in Waiuku and loved the challenge of Crossfit.
Jim challenged himself and achieved his goal, to be the oldest active firefighter at 80 years to climb the sky tower in full fire fighting kit (25kg) to raise vital funds and awareness for Leukemia & Blood Cancer NZ.
Jim then retired after 57 years as a volunteer firefighter with the Waiuku Fire Brigade.
Jim & Phyllis have been married for 59 years and they have had 3 children and now have 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Their interests over the past 50 years have been orienteering, hiking, kite fishing, kayaking, Waiuku Christmas Display, Crossfit, Waiuku Fire Brigade, the Sky stair challenge and fund raising for Child Cancer and LBC.
For our next adventure, we have bought a Sea Horse Kontiki, for some great fishing at Karioitahi beach.
Jim and Phyllis are looking forward to the opportunity to welcome you to stay their slice of paradise at Waiuku Bed & Breakfast, 100 Taurangaruru Road Waiuku.
